What I learnt

 I learnt that Ngati Tumatauenga is the New Zealand army and that some of them don't have their T - shirt's on. 

What I learnt

 I learnt stingrays stinger stays onto the species that it is attacking, 

the stinger has little sharp things on it that increases the amount of damage it gives.  I learnt that penguins grow feathers and they don't swin because their feathers will get wet, they wait for their feathers to fall off. I learnt that the shell is apart of the turtles body!

I really liked doing the koru with my partner Mahara in Term 1  but she is at haiwaia right now. Also because it feels like a puzzel kind of because your trying to put them in order and also connect them together.
